John Hillaby's Walking in Britain is both an inspiring and comprehensive guide to the great walking country of Britain.  The book is edited by John Hillaby, a well known literary pedestrian, and he has assembled a collection of friends and fellow walkers, each of whom writes with enthusiasm, knowledge and a touch of humour about their own favourite walks.  The book is beautifully illustrated with over 150 colour photographs and watercolours by the painter David Bellamy.
