Owain Glyndwr's Way [ISBN: 0-86381-690-8]

Owain Glyndwr is a Wesh national hero.  He was a late- medieval nobleman who lead the Welsh in a long and hard revolt against English colonialism in his country.  Though successful at first, his resources were limited and he finally vanished but his aims have become cornerstones of West modern history.

The Owain Glyndwr Way is a new National Trail commemorating Owain Glyndwr's name and life.  The walk starts at Knighton on Offa's Dike, close to his greatest military success near Pilleth, and passes close to battlefields, abbeys, historic houses and castles en route to Machynlleth and Welshpool.
