Climbers Club Guide: Ogwen and Carneddau

The area included in this guide book covers some of the remote and beautiful mountains and cwms in Wales.  The larger part is within the Mountains of Snowdonia, a site of special scientific interest.

The extensive hight plateau of the Carneddau has been detected bt a number of deep cwms, some of whichprovide  high standard rock climbing, for example Llech Ddu, while others such as Ysgolian Duon come into condition when there is a hard winter.
